We only collect information that is strictly necessary to provide you with our artistic editing services, and we never access content you do not explicitly share with us:

• Content you voluntarily provide: Photos you upload for editing, optional account information (username, email if you choose to register), feedback submissions, and edited works you choose to save to our cloud storage. We never access or collect any photos from your device gallery that you do not explicitly upload to Jixi for editing.
• Automatically collected technical information: Device model, operating system version, app crash logs, and anonymous usage data related to our editing features (such as which painting styles you prefer) to optimize our proprietary color retention matrix, real-time wash rendering algorithm, and rice paper texture simulation for your device.

All data usage is tied directly to improving your experience creating traditional Chinese artworks:

• Core editing functionality: Process your uploaded photos to generate your selected Chinese painting styles using our independent developed rendering technology, while preserving the core color features of your original work.
• App optimization: Improve rendering speed, adapt brush stroke and rice paper texture effects to different devices, fix technical issues, and develop new authentic artistic styles for you to use.
• User support: Respond to your feedback, inquiries, and technical support requests.
• Optional updates: If you opt in, send you notifications about new painting styles, feature releases, and artistic inspiration content related to traditional Chinese art.

We will never sell, rent, or share your original uploaded photos or unshared edited works with any third party for commercial purposes without your explicit written consent.

• Local processing option: Most of our editing features run locally on your device, meaning your photos never leave your device if you choose not to use cloud sync or cloud rendering services.
• Cloud storage rules: If you choose to save your works to our cloud, all data is encrypted during transmission and at rest. Temporary processing data for cloud rendering is permanently deleted within 72 hours after your editing session is completed, unless you actively choose to save the content.
• Security measures: We implement industry-standard security protocols to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, aligned with all applicable privacy regulatory requirements.

You have full control over your data at all times, including the right to:

• Access all personal data and edited works we hold related to you
• Export a copy of all your saved works and personal data in a commonly used, machine-readable format
• Request permanent deletion of any or all of your personal data, including uploaded photos and edited works, at any time
• Withdraw any consent you previously provided for data collection and use
• Cancel your Jixi account at any time, upon which all your associated data will be permanently erased within 15 working days
